Its a tough road back up the ladder but this time im determined not to let anything slip, I really think Ive learned from my experience. When one has a loss, no matter how large it is, it should be let go and not chased. So in future a simple loss for me will be taken on the chin and therefore hopefully I wont have to go thru the rehabilitation course Ive just been on-painful!!!!!!

A Fresh Start

Positive thinking

Another key to trading is positive thinking, Not 2 hours ago I lost over 2/3s of my bank very stupidly and irrationally. I have moved on and put the desperate( they were desperate!) losses out of my mind. I am now keen to trade tomorrow free from the ropes and cuffs of a losing mentality. Keep the outlook positive

Hopelessness and Tragedy

My first losing day and its exploited all my limitations in one, Im feeling very low but for myself I just have to pick up the pieces and learn from my mistakes. I chased losses today until I had 50 euro left. Thats all thats in the bank now at the moment so tomorrow i'll have to build up everything again. A very foolish evening but possibly its thought me a valuable lesson that a loss of 20 euro is much better than a loss of 130 euros.

I had passed the first few tests that were thrown in my direction but alas I have been unhinged by one of the most lethal evils lying out there waiting for rookie traders.

I will move onward and upward and am glad this day has come and gone, I owe it to myself to learn from this bad bad day, I am Still alive!

Yesterdays Rush

The inplay markets on soccer started at 6:30pm yesterday(Tuesday), now that was ok but it was our intention(us at home) to go do some shopping last night, which we did-only thing being it cut short my soccer trading last night which is ok but if I had more time at it last night I felt i could do a better job. Ah well thats life. 18 euro yesterday helped by a 10 euro winner in the Seville game.

All in all I still think everything is on track, the blog is going well and the target is still attainable,Im not sure whether or not the blog is interesting or going to gain readers but at the moment im not worried. Its doing a wonderful job for me and I have been never been more settled in my trading.

20 Euro Loss

Big loss of 20 euro in there but not bad overall with a 12 euro profit for the day, thought it was going to be a losing day and one stage but fought back well after and have to be happy enough with things.

Only managed to get started on the trading late and wasn't in full zone with children running here there and everywhere.

Still on track with the challenge at the moment so hope I can build on whats been happening up till now. 14 days into the challenge tomorrow-2 weeks. Anyway im off to bed, goodnight.

Days Off

I took Sunday off as I was out Saturday night and very hung over on Sunday and in no mood to watch numbers and bright screens, instead I enjoyed the football matches on TV without making any profit and felt happy about it. Back to my challenge on Monday and looking forward to it.

Thoughts

To be honest im quite astonished at how quickly my betfair balance has increased and very impressed with myself because I wasnt expecting to move so quickly upwards, now I did have a quite fortunate result early on in this week which has pushed me on a lot.

I need to keep very focused though for the next couple of weeks because one slip of concentration or indiscipline could knock down the whole house, as it were. Because im not so experienced at all this and much of it is new to me im just happy to plod along and keep my current strategy for the moment, maybe with time and experience it'll change. In my opinion I havent come across any major flaws so far with my current strategy but who knows whats around the corner.

The major major things that will stick with me as I enter into week 2 of my challenge is to remain confident, be patient, resist indiscipline and avoid the greed tendencies(which all of us are partial to, no matter who you are!) that pop up in my head from time to time. I'm enjoying everything so far and want to keep the show on the road, the ball rolling.

A Week old

I started this blog last Wednesday so its a week old today, and starting off with a bank of €20 we now have €100 , which im very happy with, im 1/5th of my way to my target of €500. I tried some horse race trading earlier on today but found the going pretty tough, on the whole i think ill stick to the soccer for now.

There are plenty of oppurtunities to be had out there and its important not to want too much too quick, Ive steadily built up the profit already and have learned some lessons during my first week. The blog has been a major part of my success so far.

Not much soccer on earlier in the day so I tried my hand at a horse race, just some simple scalps with 10 euro bank. Happy enough.

Day 3 over

Day 3 was straightforward, two losses which did hurt but not a losing day which is very important, kept my head on after the losses and came back strongly to push over an 8 euro profit. Listen, its early days im not getting carried away at all yet, theres gonna be losing days, theres nothing more certain, but an effective way of dealing with them is paramount.

Tomorrow is a big football day but im playing some football myself at 3pm which is when most of tomorrows soccer kicks off so we'll see what happens. Goodnight.

Progress

Clockwork

Today went pretty well and Im happy with my days work. plenty of soccer on, did some dabbling with the golf and horse racing too, might just stick to the soccer from now on and try and put all my concentration just on that. Its slow progression but important not to get too greedy or impatient.

I Made €4.65 today with a bank of €25, maybe that means if i put in a nought after the 5 in 25 it'd mean Id have €250, then move my decimal point 1 to the right my profit would read €46.50..............Maybe this is not the way it goes but its the way im thinking, so thats how profits grow and improve. Who knows??

Day 1

Day 1 over and a nice profit of just r €4, over, to be honest I dont know whether thats good or bad from a bank of 20 but im v happy with it at the moment and I aim to move on and up from here, maybe not as many posts as today.

1st Blog

Hi anybody,
This is my blog which I've started to help me with my football trading, I think the blog can help me with my discipline and recording of information, which at the moment is quite poor. My dream is to make loads of money like everyone else but I think it can only be achieved with the right mindset. I will attempt some pre horse race trading down the line as Im becoming very interested in it but at the moment I'll stick to the football.
I have no target yet but maybe that'll change as I move forward hopefully. Im using the betangel/soccer mystic software which is very good.
